

Paul Gimlin
Formerly the head of the Houston zoo, Paul is one of the world experts in large mammals and their care, having written and lectured extensively on the subject as well as his decades of hands-on experience in the zoo system. Paul's work with The Institute's cryptozoology program is to ensure that any cryptids in captivity can and do receive proper care.


Scarlett Long
Based out of The Institute's facilities in Paris, Texas, Scarlett holds a doctorate in taxonomy from Dartmouth College as well as dual PhDs in biology and biochemistry from Penn State. She is one of the world’s foremost researchers in the field of cryptozoology, having written three books on the topic. She is currently fundraising for the largest field research look at the topic in history.
