This may be my greatest achievement to date and I can barely take a moment to appreciate what I’ve done out of fear for my life. I’m being followed, I don’t think I can lose them, and I suspect they will try to apprehend me to learn what I know and attempt to coerce me into guiding them to the creatures I have found… Though they may bite off more than they can chew with the Cherufe. My research in Chile—the presumed home of the creature—ran cold, and it wasn’t until I expanded my search to all volcanic locations worldwide that I began to pick up new leads. I’d love to pat myself on the back, but I’ve already taken too long to write this. I’m leaving now. This might be the last you hear from me.
